Our approach

We keep money out of the platform entirely: supporters pay bill companies directly, which removes the most common way people are scammed. We don’t verify bills, so we rely on simple automatic safeguards and on our community.

Safeguards

• No money is ever sent to or through the website or to requesters personally.
• Payment details must point to the bill company’s official payment methods.
• Duplicate bills are blocked, uploads are checked for file type and integrity, and sign-ups, requests and reports are rate-limited.
• Only one supporter can commit to a bill at a time, so the same bill isn’t paid twice.
• Requests reported by several members are hidden automatically, and accounts that break the rules can be suspended.

Red flags for supporters

Payment details that point to a personal bank account, money-transfer app, gift cards or crypto; pressure to pay outside the site; or anyone contacting you privately. Don’t pay — report the request.
