This policy explains what personal information Bored Billionaire Bill collects, why, and how it is protected.

Information we collect

Account information: your name or nickname, email address and password (stored in hashed form).
Bill requests: the bill you upload, category, amounts, currency, due date, country, bill company, account or reference number, optional account name, payment instructions, your explanation and your display name.
Payment receipts: receipts that supporters upload after paying a bill company.
Technical data: IP address and basic logs used for security and to prevent abuse.

We do not collect or process any card or bank payment details. Payments happen between supporters and bill companies.

Who can see what

Anyone: display name, country, bill category, amounts, due date and explanation.
Signed-in members only: the uploaded bill (including anything visible on it) and the payment details you provide.
The requester, the supporter and site administrators: payment receipts.

Uploaded files are stored outside the public website folder, are never shown to search engines, and are only served to signed-in members. Before uploading, you can cover any details you don’t want shared.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run the site (such as hosting) or where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and your rights

You can take a request down at any time from your dashboard, and ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data. Contact us to make a request.
